A new Co-op is due to open towards the end of the summer creating more than a dozen jobs for a Suffolk village.
Whilst they are yet to confirm an opening date, Central Co-op has announced that it intends to hire between 14 - 16 people to work in the Stanton store.
The Hepworth Road shop will be a modern building featuring electric vehicle chargers.
A spokesperson for Central Co-op said: "The store will feature the same quality that customers and Members have come to expect from Central Co-op, including Food to Go, products supporting Our Malawi Partnership, Fairtrade goods, COOK frozen ranges, and much more.
"As a part of Central Co-op's purpose of creating a sustainable Society for all, the site will feature electric vehicle chargers as well.
"At this stage, we’re unable to provide a specific opening date. We’re hard at work preparing the store so that it can provide the most value for customers and members in the local area."
The store is currently hiring for six customer service assistant vacancies.
