With the summer finally here and the weather warm enough to eat outside, it is no wonder it feels like food trucks are everywhere at the moment.
Here is a rundown of some of the best mobile food suppliers in the county, with details about how to find them.
1. Bad Boi Burritos
This Mexican takeaway van keeps it simple with three burrito options: pulled beef shin, chipotle chicken, and veggie vibe.
Their tortilla wraps are served with fillings including pico de gallo, guacamole, coriander and lime rice, cheese, and sour cream, with the option of a standard or gluten-free tortilla wrap.
The converted horse box takeaway is run by childhood friends Perry Runswick and Callum Bailey and they cater at large events and markets.
Details of their upcoming stops for July can be found on their Instagram page: @badboiburritos
2. The Little Pizza Oven
This family-run business can be found at the Haverhill Market on the first Saturday of every month, but the company also sells its pizzas every Friday night on Deliveroo.
The Little Pizza Oven was founded in 2021 by a husband and wife team Darren and Marisa who have over 45 years of hospitality experience between them. There are eight options on their menu, including a miso cheesy garlic bread and a regularly-changing special.

3. Peck
Peck recently opened a takeaway shop on St John's Street in Bury St Edmunds. However, their food truck is still very active and attends the weekly markets in Colchester, Ipswich, and Bury St Edmunds.
The company is run by Nathan and Jessie, a couple who are championing local produce and exclusively use Suffolk-reared buttermilk fried chicken in their food.

Doodle Donuts are available for purchase at several markets across the county, as well as online. For the most up-to-date information on their whereabouts, follow them on Instagram: @doodle_donuts
5. Suffolk Fried Chicken
Suffolk Fried Chicken serve their sandwiches, wings, and chips out of their converted horse box. They have a daily special as well as a range of seasoned fries for their vegetarian visitors.

6. Wagyu Burgers
Wagyu Burgers and Street Food is a family-run business that was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. Head chef Josh has experience working with top chefs, including Marcus Waring and Chantelle Nicholson, but decided to stick to the basics and serve one key item well: his wagyu beef burgers.
The company has dreams to expand into a fleet of food trucks. For now, Wagyu Burgers can be found at a range of pubs in Sudbury and Ipswich, and their weekly location can be found through their Instagram: @wagyuburgers_asf
7. Grab a Burger
Maybe the most diverse offering on this list, Grab a Burger sells a range of beef and vegetarian burgers, as well as chicken wings and fries. From Hell's Burger to Mamma Mia, the witty names stand out.
With regular Friday nights at The Maypole in Wetherden and Saturday nights at the Rattlesden Five Bells, they're relatively easy to track down. Their most up-to-date locations can be found on their Facebook: Grab a Burger
