The Met Office has now warned of thunderstorms and hail across Suffolk with a weather warning.
The thunderstorm warning is in place from 9am on Saturday until midnight on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said that people should expect a very heavy downpour and up to 50mm of rainfall, accompanied by hail, thunder, and lightning.
Sunday will be cooler, with sunshine and showers predicted for the region.
A separate heat-health warning has been put in place from 12pm on Friday until 9am on Sunday.
Temperatures are due to reach 29C over the day, and the night will remain mild, with highs of 17C.
On Saturday the temperatures are due to soar quickly in the morning, reaching 30C early on in the day.
