A person was airlifted to hospital after a serious three-vehicle crash on the A12.
Emergency services were called to the crash in Blythburgh, close to the A1095 turn-off to Southwold, at about 4pm on Sunday.
The fire service and paramedics were also called to the scene and one person was airlifted to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with a head injury.
However, this injury was subsequently confirmed to not be life-threatening or life-changing.
Two other people were taken to James Pagent Hospital in Gorleston by land ambulance with various injuries.
None of them were deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said one man was arrested at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who was driving in the area at the time is being asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting the CAD 249 of July 2.
