A new restaurant serving a variety of drinks and food is soon to open in Stowmarket, run by the same owner who had an award-winning bistro.
The Shack Stowmarket will open on July 6, offering a dine in and takeaway service for customers.
On offer will be milkshakes, sundaes and burgers, as well as breakfast items such as waffles, pancakes and full English.
The owner, Marc Rogers, previously owned The Angel in Needham Market, before having to close the bistro in February due to the landlord wanting the space back.
Now, the 37-year-old is opening in a bigger premises where he will be able to open for longer.
With the new premises, he is also able to offer more job opportunities, hiring more people than at his previous business.
Mr Rogers said: "Since February I have been looking for a space, and this came up, between the train station and town, and it is an ideal spot.
"It's in close proximity to schools so parents with their kids can come down and get milkshakes or something as a treat.
"I have two young daughters myself so I wanted to create a space where I'd want to take them myself.
"Everyone seems really happy we are opening, our old customers from The Angel said they would come and see us, as it is only just down the road, and that has given us confidence that the change of location will be okay.
"People have been messaging saying they are hoping I bring back previous foods they liked and they are excited for me to open which is really nice to know that people have clearly missed us."
The Shack will be open at The Maltings in Stowmarket, Thursday to Monday, and will be open from 9.30 am to 8.30 pm, offering takeaway or dine in.
