One of the biggest events in the Suffolk calendar will be under full swing in less than a month's time.
Felixstowe Carnival is due to take place over the weekend from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23 and will start with a live performance by a swing band in the beach side events area, with the audience encouraged to bring a picnic.

The main procession will take place on the Saturday, starting at 1pm, with the floats moving through the town to the seafront.
There will also be a craft fair in Felixstowe Leisure Centre in Undercliff Road West, along with beach side traders and a food court and bar.

The weekend is set to finish with a fireworks display at 10pm close to the pier.
Organisers Felixstowe Carnival Association are also encouraging donations to enable the carnival to continue in the future and there will be collection buckets at the event, along with a donation station for contributions by card and a QR code that people can scan.
