A picturesque Suffolk pub has been named amongst the prettiest pub gardens in the UK by the Good Food Guide.
The Brewers in Rattleden is the only pub garden in the East of England to have made it onto the list of 12.
The stylish patio is ringed by a high brick wall, with large umbrellas covering the dining area and fairy lights hanging around the back of the pub building.
The barbecue area is hidden behind a low concrete wall. On sunny weekends head chef Matt Avery can be found tending foods with Texan smokehouse flavours.
The guide recommends several items on the menu, including the ham hock terrine, the lamb rump, and the date pudding.
The chefs rely on fresh and sustainable local produce, which means that the menu is constantly changing. What they do guarantee is at least four starter, main and dessert options.
The two-course set lunch costs £22 per person and the a la carte mains start at £18.
