A primary school is celebrating after it retained its 'good' Ofsted rating following a recent inspection.
Glemsford Primary Academy, near Sudbury, was praised for its 'welcoming environment' while pupil behaviour was hailed as 'excellent'.
Headteacher Nick George said: "We are delighted that Glemsford continues to be a ‘good’ school.
"This is testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff at the school and the wonderful support that we enjoy from our community.
"I’m pleased that the report reflects the Glemsford team’s dedication to giving our children the very best possible start in life."
The report also praised staff for developing a 'love of learning' among pupils, who were described as courteous and polite.
The inspectors said: "Pupils’ behaviour is excellent both in lessons and at social times. This behaviour provides a welcoming environment in which the pupils can flourish.
"Because pupils feel safe, they can be confident learners. Younger children show curiosity and are equally keen to learn. Staff treat children with warmth and encourage them to do their best."
