A Suffolk foodie favourite has launched a range of new puddings just in time for the summer.
Suffolk Food Hall, based south of Ipswich, has announced its new dessert menu.
Located in Wherstead, on the outskirts of Suffolk's county town, the hall boasts a delicatessen and butchery, a home and garden centre, and a cafe and a recently re-designed restaurant.
Nick Punter, head of marketing, said: "We use local produce where we can, which drives lots of our menu changes.
"We work with the seasons as much as possible.
"Our pastry chef, Simon Moseley, is pretty innovative."
The restaurant has a range of new choices on offer, including a vegan coconut rice pudding, with a pineapple and chilli salsa, a poached and caramelised pear, served with a blackcurrant sorbet and almond brittle, and a Suffolk gin and tonic cheesecake.
And they can be enjoyed with the panoramic views of the River Orwell and the surrounding countryside.
The Suffolk Food Hall is hosting a vintage and maker's market on Sunday, August 13 and the desserts are available to try now.
