The green light has been given for a luxury wellbeing retreat complete with therapy pets and camping domes near Bury St Edmunds.
Submitted at the end of last year, the application sought permission for a change of use to land on Porters Farm in Queens Lane, Chedburgh to create animal enclosures, camping domes and a healing garden.
Land owners Jon and Laura Cardy have prior experience as an intensive care consultant and nurse respectively.
They stated their intentions for the wellbeing centre within their planning submission, saying: "Having spent many years on the frontline of the NHS mending very broken bodies, we now aim to heal fractured minds at The Suffolk Sanctuary, a space with mental health and well-being central to its concept."

Now West Suffolk Council has granted permission, work can start on converting the building into a wellbeing centre with a variety of facilities for consultation, supportive care, workshops and overnight accommodation.
The couple have been providing mental health support at Porters Farm informally for the past four years and say demand for the services proposed is "extremely high".
