A man who died after a single-vehicle crash near a Suffolk town centre has been named.
Emergency services were called to Acton Lane at about 12.40am on Saturday to reports of a crash involving a black BMW.
The driver of the car - who has been named locally as Tom Stratton - died at the scene of the crash.
A number of floral tributes have been left by the side of the road in Acton Lane.
One tribute reads: "Rest in peace old friend. Thank you for the memories."
Speaking previously, mayor of Sudbury Jan Osbourne said her thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in the crash.
Former mayor Sudbury Ellen Murphy said the incident was "tragic".
She added: "It is very, very sad news.
"This is very tragic and my condolences go to the man's family and friends."
Officers would like anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from around the time of the incident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Suffolk police, quoting CAD 15.
