A man has died following a car crash in Sudbury earlier today.
Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at 12.40am today (June 3), to reports of a single-vehicle crash in Acton Lane involving a black BMW.
The fire service and the ambulance service were also in attendance, but the driver died at the scene.
A road closure was in place on Acton Lane which was fully reopened at 9.20am.
Officers would like anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from around the time of the incident to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting CAD 15.
