Early visitors have started passing through the gates at the county's biggest event as the Suffolk Show opened to the public.
With fine show weather predicted and a full programme of entertainment and competition for everyone, the event was expected to attract huge crowds as a half-term highlight for tens of thousands of families.
Organisers are delighted at the weather - the overnight drizzle settled any pollen but there is no rain forecast during the two days and the temperatures are not likely to be too high to be comfortable.
The early livestock classes are being judged this morning after handlers were up in the early hours to make their charges look as good as possible.
The Suffolk Show does have subtle changes every year but it remains wholly recognisable for regular visitors who were happy to show their delight as they arrived for a fun day out.
