A 47-year-old man has died in a crash near Witnesham.
Police were called just before 1.45pm today, May 27, to reports of a motorbike crash on the B1077.
The ambulance service and air ambulance were in attendance.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was declared dead at Ipswich Hospital.
The B1077 remains closed between Ashbocking and High Road and is expected to remain closed for some time.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision, particularly the driver of a black Mercedes travelling on the B1077 away from Witnesham towards Ashbocking just after 1pm, and ask that any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage.
