Plans have been submitted for Haverhill to receive a second Greggs in the form of a 'food-to-go pod' at a service station.
The Motor Fuel Group has applied for permission to demolish the existing car wash, plant room and jet wash machine at Haverhill Service Station on Sturmer Road.
The application details the creation of a 'food-to-go pod', with photos of the proposals showing it to be a new Greggs store.
The proposals were submitted after West Suffolk Council approved the construction of eight electric vehicle charging bays and a replacement car wash in a separate part of the service station in February.

The planning application details that the new Haverhill Greggs will "provide refreshment facilities for customers charging their cars at the recently approved charging bays".
If approved, it will become the town's second Greggs, joining the High Street store which reopened its doors to the public after a refurbishment in 2015.
