A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a stationary van on the A12.
Emergency services were called to the crash at about 7.30pm on Thursday, to reports of a two-vehiclec crash near the A145 junction.
A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed the motorcyclist - a man aged in his 20s - was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed to allow officers to conduct initial investigations into the cause of the collision and reopened at about 2.50am.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk police quoting CAD number 387.
