Part of the A12 was closed following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the A12 at Blythburgh just before 7.30pm tonight (May 25), and the road had to be shut while police conducted initial investigations into the cause.
A spokesman Suffolk police said the road would be closed for some time so drivers were being asked to avoid the area.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk police quoting CAD number 387.
