A planning application has been submitted to convert office space into two residential flats in Sudbury.
The proposal, which will be discussed by Babergh District Council, seeks to change the rear of the building, situated on Gainsborough Street in Sudbury, providing two flats.
The proposal would utilise the existing building with very few external changes being made.
The work that would be done to the exterior would be the insertion of windows, and the subdivision of the existing courtyard area.
The office will be divided into commercial use towards the front of the building, and the flats at the back, with access off Gainsborough Street.
The flats would also benefit from a dedicated parking space to each flat, with additional parking nearby at Friars Street.
The bottom flat proposed in the Grade II listed building will benefit from two bedrooms, one toilet and a separate kitchen and living room, whereas the first floor flat will have one bedroom and an open plan kitchen, and living room space.
