The trial of two teenagers accused of the murder of an 18-year-old from Norfolk has been put back until later this year.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday (May 15) were Joshua Howell, 18, of Wellington Street, Ipswich, and Alfie Hammett, 18, of Larkhill Rise, Rushmere St Andrew.
They have both denied murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Howell has also denied threatening another man with a knife in Westgate Street, Ipswich.
Raymond James Quigley, from Wymondham, died after being stabbed in Westgate Street on January 17 this year.
Officers were called at 3.35pm on January 17 to reports that a man had been stabbed in Westgate Street, with police later confirming he had died.
The incident happened between Marks & Spencer and the former Debenhams building.
A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded that Mr Quigley's cause of death was four stab wounds to the torso.
Howell and Hammett’s trial, which is expected to last a month, had been provisionally booked for July but has now been moved back to later in the year, with a provisional start date of December 11.
Hammett has been remanded in custody while Howell is remanded in youth detention accommodation.
A further hearing will take place on May 30.
