Lanes have been reopened on the Orwell Bridge after yesterday's serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the A14 between junctions 56 and 57 just after 11am on Tuesday.
The crash involved a lorry and a car and one vehicle had crossed the central reservation.
There were severe delays throughout Ipswich throughout the day.
Overnight, emergency repair works have been carried out by National Highways.
These emergency barrier repairs are now complete and the #A14 is now open eastbound between J56 to J57 (#Ipswich) in #Suffolk.
