Plans to convert an old agricultural barn into five holiday lets in a Suffolk village have been given the green light.
West Suffolk Council has granted planning permission for the conversion of an agricultural barn at Barrow Hall in Church Road, Barrow.
Planning documents state the intention is to ensure that the original building is "retained, restored and repurposed".

The proposals have been designed to "make the most of the natural surroundings and daylight" whilst reflecting "the nature of the original building form but in a more fitting manner to the current way of living".
External alterations include the insertion of windows and doors, as well as re-roofing the structure.
The northern end of the building was converted to a residential space in 2015, meaning that these plans will extend this use to four more holiday dwellings.
The council officer's report recommending approval added: "The building is at present unused and its conversion would support tourism within the area as well as increased spend within the village."
