A man in his 20s has died following a crash in Melton. 

Emergency services were called to the B1438 Melton Road at 12.25am on Sunday after reports of an incident involving a grey Seat Ibiza and a pedestrian. 

A man aged in his 20s died at the scene. 

The road was closed until 6.15am while investigations took place. 

A spokesperson for Suffolk police said: "Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision, and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance."
