The A14 was closed for a number of hours due to flooding.
The eastbound entry slip at junction 44 at Bury St Edmunds was closed by National Highways at about 8.30pm on Friday.
The county was battered by heavy rainfall yesterday with showers expected to continue throughout the coronation bank holiday weekend.
Drivers were asked to find alternative routes.
The entry slip reopened at about 3.30am.
