The trial of a 30-year-old man accused of breaking into the home of a Suffolk man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm has got under way.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, May 2, was Renell Johnson, of Breeze Terrace, Hertfordshire.
He pleaded not guilty to burglary at an address in Edmund Road, Brandon, on September 22 last year with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
He also denied an offence of assault causing actual bodily harm on the same date.
A jury was empanelled on Tuesday and prosecution counsel David Baird is expected to open the case on Wednesday, May 3.
