The cause of a huge fire that ripped through two popular fish and chip shops along the Suffolk coast has been revealed.
Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze at Blackshore Quay in Southwold at 12.50am on Monday.
As a result of the blaze eight sheds and two fish and chip shops were badly damaged.
No casualties were reported.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
"It was an electrical fault," the spokeswoman confirmed.
A GoFundMe has been set up to raise money for the businesses affected by the blaze.
Jasmine Webb who has organised the fundraiser said: "They have had so much love and support on social media posts and many of you suggested a fundraiser.
"This will be to support the family , staff and buisness at this unfortunate time."
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent eight crews to the scene from across the county, including Lowestoft, Haverhill, Beccles, Halesworth, Woodbridge, Leiston and Wrentham.
In an emotional post on Facebook Mr T's Fish and Chip Shop, which has been affected by the blaze, thanked members of the public for their support since the fire.
They said: "All of the staff at Mr T's would like to thank each and every one for your kind words of support today.
"We haven't been able to answer everyone yet, but we have seen all your messages, and we are blown away with the amount of love we have received."
