Plans for a new Starbucks drive-thru in a Suffolk town have been submitted.
Proposals have been put forward to Babergh District Council to build a restaurant on vacant land in Ipswich Road, in Hadleigh.
Access to the restaurant would be via Ellen Aldous Avenue on the Weavers Meadow estate.
Inside, there would be a customer service area, seating and toilets.
A total of 25 parking spaces have been included in the design proposals, as well as a collection bay for drive-thru customers.
If approved, it could create up to 20 full-time and part-time jobs.
In a statement submitted to Babergh District Council, the applicant, Burney Estates, said: "This increase in work force will provide a trickledown effect on other businesses in the area, helping to boost the local economy."
A transport statement added: "It is considered that the proposed development is ideally located in accessibility terms, being suitably located in relation to the local highway network and A1071 Ipswich Road, which would attract high levels of pass-by traffic that would support the proposed land use."
