A striking picture of the Milky Way has been captured over one of Suffolk's most popular beaches.
Jon Allard, who is a keen astronomical photographer, captured the phenomenon above Aldeburgh beach.
It is not the first time Mr Allard has captured the Milky Way above Aldeburgh as he managed to snap it last April.
The photographer normally spends most of the night taking pictures making sure he gets the perfect shot.
The Milky Way was also captured above Shingle Street and Walberswick last year by keen amateur photographers.
Suffolk has some great places to go stargazing thanks to the clear skies and seemingly never-ending views.
