A Suffolk Post Office has reopened in a new, temporary location.
The Sudbury Post Office inside the Borehamgate Shopping Centre closed suddenly last month.
The branch had to be shut to allow for urgent works to be carried out by Babergh District Council.
A new location for the Post Office has been found - opposite its previous location.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “We are pleased to announce that a new temporary location for Sudbury Post Office has opened today to restore service to the community.
“The Post Office is co-sharing space at the Innovation Labs at Unit 16, Borehamgate Shopping Centre.
"These premises are conveniently located opposite where Sudbury Post Office had been based.
"Urgent building work was needed, and the branch has been temporarily closed since 17 March, whilst Babergh District Council undertook essential work.
“We thank Babergh District Council for helping us to find this new temporary location at short notice.”
The opening hours will remain as Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 2pm.
