Plans to convert a former WHSmith store into a new coffee shop have been submitted.
Esquires Coffee have submitted an application for signage on the fromer Market Hill store in Sudbury.
An application submitted to Babergh District Council shows pictures of the proposed new signs on the former book shop.
WHSmith announced it would closing its Sudbury store last year as they were "unable to continue to trade viably from this location".
The closure also meant the town temporarily lost its Post Office before it moved into the Borehamgate Precinct.
The decision to close the store was met with "extreme disappointment" by local leaders.
A statement on Esquiries Coffee's website reads that a store in Sudbury is "coming soon".
