An application has been made to convert a garage into a two bed bungalow in Newmarket, with associated parking.
The proposed site is located at the rear of 45 Eastcote, Bury Road in Newmarket.
The existing vehicle access to the site is shared and will not be altered.
The garage, is currently vacant, and has been used as storage for 45 Eastcote.
The application states that the proposed conversion will be constructed in a fashion that is "sympathetic to the existing house using matching brickwork and finishes".
The house will consist of two bedrooms, kitchen, dining, living room and shower room, and be equipped with a courtyard and two parking spaces.
Parking spaces will also be created for 45 Eastcote should the application be approved.
The landscape and boundaries will be altered, with the site being divided up with the garden of 45 Eastcote being reduced to provide a garden for the converted garage.
The application states that the proposal "will provide a high standard of living with sustainability through good quality design" and is located within easy access to the town centre.
