A major Suffolk road has been closed in both directions after a two-car crash.
The collision happened just before 5pm on the A12 between Yoxford and Saxmundham.
Emergency services including police, fire and ambulance crews are at the scene.
Four Suffolk Fire Service appliances from Leiston, Saxmundham, Lowestoft South and Framlingham are in attendance.
A Suffolk Police spokesman said the road is likely to be closed for a "sustained" period of time and diversion routes are currently being organised by a highways team.
There is heavy congestion in the area following the closure.
The extent of any injuries is currently not known.
