A badly damaged and burnt car was found discarded near Beccles following reports of a vehicle being stolen from the area.
The shell of a black BMW was found on Cucumber Lane in Weston, Beccles, at 8.46pm on Wednesday, April 5 following reports of a vehicle fire near New Road.
Fire attended crews attended and a cordon was placed around the burnt-out car.
Police are connecting this to an incident of the same day - when a black BMW 3 series was stolen from The Fairway in Lowestoft.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police quoting the reference 407 of April 5.
