Permission has been granted for a new gym in a former Bury St Edmunds industrial unit.
Under new plans, Miro House on Western Way will become a "state-of-the-art" gym, complete with cardiovascular and resistance training equipment, consultation rooms and a 20m running track.
West Suffolk Council's planning officer says the plans will create 26 full-time jobs - more than three times as many as the printing company which used to own the site.
The gym is proposed to be open on weekdays from 5.30am to 10.30pm and weekends from 6am to 10pm.

For the most part, development will be undertaken within the existing building, but details note that the site would "benefit from an improved facade and new signage".
The planning statement adds that the gym will "meet the health needs of the residents of Bury St Edmunds" and that facilities will be made available to local community groups to "improve the wellbeing of the district".
