Plans first submitted in 2019 for 210 homes in a Suffolk village near Bury St Edmunds have gone to appeal.
Gladman Developments Limited first requested permission to build a 210 house development in Thurston in 2019.
The plans detailed that 35% of the homes would be affordable properties and would include the provision of new access, open space and a children's play area on the site near Ixworth Road.
Mid Suffolk District Council said approval was delayed due to an "outstanding judicial review" brought by Thurston Parish Council against another development in the vicinity.
Though this has since been brought to a close, the district council added that the parish council would be challenging this latest application as well.

Mid Suffolk District Council recommended refusal of the plans in early March, as planning officers believed the application had changed significantly since it was first put forward.
Thus, Gladman Developments Limited has decided to appeal the case and a final decision on the 210 house development is expected in August.
