Plans to convert a former Debenhams store into a trampoline park and a go-karting track have been revealed.
Flip Out has submitted the planning application to Colchester City Council.
According to plans trampolines will be installed on the first floor of the former Debenhams store, in Culver Street West.
The second floor will be converted into a go-karting track.
A statement submitted to the council says the while premises will be operated by Flip Out who will be offering a “trampoline and adventure park experience”.
The building has been left empty since the department store closed down in May 2021 after 34 years of trading.
If it gets the go-ahead the new trampoline park and go-karting track could create up to 50 full time jobs.
