A man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash on the A14 has been released on bail.
Police were called to the eastbound carriageway at Beyton, near Bury St Edmunds, at around 6pm on Thursday after reports of a crash involving two lorries and a van.
The driver of the van, a 53-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.
One lorry driver was taken to West Suffolk Hospital as a precaution.
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Today, a Suffolk police spokesperson confirmed he has been released on bail until June 22.
The road reopened just before 1pm on Friday.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision and any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle.
