A seven-year-old Suffolk girl has been spurred on to help clear litter from her village while going for a ride on her pony, Pinto.

Instead of having traditional chocolate eggs as an Easter present, Maddie Goodall has asked for a litter grabber so she can combine a ride on Shetland breed Pinto with helping to clear rubbish around Falkenham.

Indeed, the pair have become a familiar sight around the village and Maddie is planning to undertake her litter pick on Easter Sunday.

Maddie's stepmother Grayling Marsh said: "My seven-year-old stepdaughter Maddie Goodall has become quite adamant about picking up litter around our village (Falkenham, Suffolk).

"For Easter she has asked for a litter grabber rather than an egg for the purpose of doing a litter pick on her four legged friend, Pinto, a very cheeky Shetland pony.
