An application has been submitted for four new terraced town houses in a Suffolk village.
The plans would see the three-storey homes built in a vacant patch of land lying to the north of The Railway Tavern in Mellis.
Each property would consist of a living room and dining/kitchen area on the ground floor, two bedrooms and a bathroom on the second, and one bedroom with an en-suite on the third.
If approved, associated private gardens and off-road parking would also be available for the new dwellings, with enough room for electric car charging points and cycle storage.

The design and access statement, which has been submitted by KHA Design LTD on behalf of a Mr Huber, concludes: "This application seeks to create a high-quality home that will improve the character of the area.
"The proposed dwellings are within a suitable village with the distance allowing minimal effect on any surrounding dwellings.
"The planning statement highlights the proposed site is well located in relation to existing development and located within easy access to services and facilities, including by means of public transport."
