A large police cordon is in place in a football club car park.
A number of police cars are currently at the scene of the incident with police tape covering most of the Cornard United Football Club car park in Black House Lane.
UPDATE: Man in 50s seriously assaulted
Forensics are also in attendance.
The car park has been closed and there is no access to the playing field via Black House Lane.
The nature of the incident is not yet clear but Suffolk police has been approached for a comment.
