Plans have been submitted for a holiday home in a mid-Suffolk village.
The proposals submitted by Phil Cobbold Planning Ltd on behalf of a Mr and Mrs Bryan would see the establishment of a self-catered lodge in Great Finborough, near Stowmarket.
According to plans for the layout, the one-storey site would consist of one bedroom, one bathroom and a living room.
The applicant's design and access statement claims: "The rural location of the site is a fundamental part of its attraction to future tourists/holiday makers, providing an escape from an urban environment whilst at the same time not being remote in a rural context.
"The development will [also] provide economic, social and environmental benefits.
"The provision of holiday accommodation at the site will provide local employment opportunities and provide additional income for other rural facilities and visitor attractions in the area.
"As such, the development will also provide local social benefits in terms of helping to sustain the viability of local services thereby helping to safeguard local jobs."
