Parts of Suffolk have woken up to snowfall for a second day as the cold snap continues.
Snow has been pictured settling on fields and pavements around Sudbury and Great Cornard this morning.
It comes after snow showers hit the county on Tuesday when a Met Office weather warning for snow and ice was in place.
A severe cold weather warning is in place for the region with temperatures expected to stay around freezing throughout the day.
Vulnerable people with underlying health conditions have been urged to keep their heating on to at least 18C, while people are being advised to stay warm and look out for those who are most vulnerable in cold conditions.
The UKHSA said if people can’t heat all the rooms they use, they should heat the living room during the day and the bedroom just before going to sleep.
People should wear several layers of thinner clothing rather than one thick jumper, it added.
