Thieves have targeted a rural home in the Suffolk countryside and stolen about 200 litres of heating oil.
The incident happened between midday on Thursday, February 23 and 8am on Saturday, February 25 in Saxham Street, Stowupland.
According to Suffolk police, about 200 litres of heating oil was stolen from a tank at the home.
The unknown person gained entry to the garden, removed the lid of the oil tank and syphoned the fuel out of it.
Following this incient, people living in rural communities are being urged to remain vigilant at all times.
Several thefts of heating oil have been reported across Suffolk in recent months.
