The Oxfam charity shop in Bury St Edmunds is set to close at the end of next month.
The shop, which is located on the Cornhill, has put up a sign which says they will cease trading on Friday, March 31.
This follows shortly after the town's Barnardo's charity shop was forced to close its doors in October last year.
The nearest Oxfam shop to Bury St Edmunds is now nearly 20 miles away in Sudbury.
An Oxfam representative said: “Oxfam shops exist to raise as much money as possible to overcome poverty and suffering in some of the poorest countries in the world.
"We constantly evaluate the profitability of all our shops, to ensure they are efficient and making the most money for Oxfam's vital work.
“Sometimes this leads to difficult decisions about the viability of particular shops. These decisions are never taken lightly and we always take into the account the impact on our staff and volunteers.
“Unfortunately, the shop in Bury St Edmunds will be closing on March 31. We would like to express our gratitude to people in Bury St Edmunds who have supported the shop so generously over the years.”
