The trial of a 28-year-old Suffolk man who was arrested after a fatal stabbing in Leiston last year will take place in October.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday ( February 24) was Oskars Kantors of Old School Close, Leiston.
He has pleaded not guilty to murdering 41-year-old Agris Leigavnieks, of Old School Close, Leiston, on October 17 last year.
He also denied assaulting a man and a woman causing them actual bodily harm on the same date.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 8.50pm on Monday October 17 to reports that a man had been assaulted at an address in Old School Close.
The victim was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance where he later died.
Judge Martyn Levett adjourned the case until March 17 for a further hearing and remanded Kantors in custody.
Kantors’ trial, which is expected to last four weeks, is expected to get underway on October 30.
