There are currently long delays on the A140 after two separate crashes this morning.
Emergency services were first called to a crash near Mendlesham at about 7.40am on Thursday.
The crash happened between the Blue House Lane and Town Lane junctions.
At 8.05am officers were called to another crash the other side of the Town Lane junction to reports of a single-vehicle crash.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a car had gone into a ditch.
The spokesman was not able to give any details on injuries or road closures at this time.
According to the AA Traffic Map there are lengthy delays in the area.
