The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has submitted plans to replace 'poor quality' accommodation at RAF Honington near Bury St Edmunds.
In a letter addressed to West Suffolk Council, the MOD proposes a new 'Single Living Accommodation' building to "ensure that the airbase continues to operate effectively."
The new building would be a two-storey block close to the existing Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess.
It is currently anticipated that work would commence in September 2025.
