A Suffolk castle that was made famous by Ed Sheeran has been named among the best to visit in the UK.
Framlingham Castle was named by the luxury travel magazine Travel and Leisure as one of the country's most beautiful castles.
Award-wining travel journalist Jonathan Thompson said Framlingham Castle was a perfect example of the “motte and bailey” fortifications of the 11th and 12th centuries.
The castle is one of Suffolk's most photographed landmarks and is famed as the place where Mary I was first proclaimed Queen of England.
The iconic landmark is set on a hill overlooking the small market town.
