The trial of a 36-year-old man accused of attempted murder and a firearm offence after a man was shot in the leg in Brandon will take place in June.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday ( February 3) for a plea and trial preparation hearing via a video link was Jason Anderson, of Riverside Way, Brandon.
He pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in December last year.
Police were called to a property in the High Street in Brandon after a man in his 40s called police and reported he had been shot in the leg with what is thought to have been a shotgun.
He suffered a minor injury and didn’t need hospital treatment.
Officers subsequently carried out a search at a property in Riverside Way in connection with the incident and seized a number of firearms and ammunition.
Anderson’s trial, which is expected to last five days, will get underway on June 12.
