The boat of a late merchant sailor and well-respected sea captain is up for auction.
The partially renovated 50ft wooden boat has a guide price of between £5,000 and £10,000.
Called Three Rivers, the oak-framed vessel is a former commercial patrol boat and is currently in storage in Oulton Broad.
James McKee, who spent a large part of his adult life at sea as a merchant sailor, started to renovate the boat before he died in September aged 88.
The sailor was a well-respected sea captain before moving to work in Great Yarmouth in 1972 where he went on to set up his own survey company.
Mr McKee's son, Scott, said: "We are hoping to find someone who will put it back in the water or give it a new lease of life."
The boat was originally commissioned in 1967 for the Northumberland and Tyneside River Board, working as a patrol and fast response vessel.
Mr McKee purchased the boat in the 1990s to use as a supply vessel, before decommissioning it for personal use.
The original layout included four berths, a small galley, a toilet and a small store along with a saloon situated at the rear of the vessel and wheelhouse.
The vessel also boasts two Gardner 6LX Diesel Engines x 127BHP and teak decking.
Full drawings and specifications are available for inspection and full payment will be required at auction.
