Dozens of firefighters from across Suffolk have worked in freezing conditions to tackle a thatched roof fire in Suffolk overnight.
The blaze broke out at a property along the A1101 Bury Road in Hengrave with engines sent to the scene at 12.48am on Wednesday.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Princes Street, Leiston, Hadleigh, Long Melford, Haverhill, Wickhambrook Elmswell, Brandon and Mildenhall.
Fire crews have been dealing with a large multi-property thatch fire throughout the night in Hengrave.

Two crews from Bury St Edmunds, Ixworth and Newmarket were also called, taking the total number of fire engines at the scene to 15.
Sam Linton tweeted that Suffolk Highways helped to grit the roads as the crews worked in freezing conditions.

There is currently a road closure in place in both directions in Bury Road, near to Hengrave Hall and in Mill Road.
Residents have been temporarily evacuated fromconnected properties as a safety precaution.
No injuries have been reported.
